Technology use for Nursing: How does Technology benefit nurses?

Technology is used everywhere. Even hospitals are filled with the use of technology for nurses to use. America has come a long way from writing everything down to using electronics to store patience records. It was requested from George W. Bush that everyone have a electronic medical record by this year, 2010. I think its a great and easier way to keep things organized and just look up peoples names and pull up their record. Back in the day they would just write down everything and I am more than sure files were lost. The future will be even more interesting with how they decide to handle these types of things.
